| I bought a 67 beetle form him. He gave me a good price and the car was pretty much as he said. It took me [ not him] a long time to get it shipped and he heald it for me with no extra charge. I spoke to him many times and he seems like a stand up guy. |

I sent you a email about some work you charged me $45.00 an hour for and sent you pics of the work which was not very professionally done. Never heard back form you on the matter. It has been a few years since you've done the work and i am still having it all redone. I will continue to spread the word on what type of workman ship is done and how you just dont care about the customer after you are payed. And if anyone need proof on this work i speak of pm me and i can send photos. |

Two solid transactions from him so far. Shipping a little high but it was speedy. _________________ 1969 Westy Tin Top. |

I had wanted to wait until the whole situation played out, but enough people know about it that I think I need to put something in the record here:
Car sent to shop for diagnostics (Feb 28 or March 1?). While in the shops care the motor was stolen. Shop didn't call me. 5 days passed and I went to pick up the car. They told me then that the motor was stolen, the stick shift was stolen and the ignition switch was missing. Shop owner insists he can't be responsible for thieves, doesn't have insurance. Attempting to resolve this through insurance. The timeline as I understand it:
Thursday (March 3, 2011) morning the car discovered in strange location in shop yard. Engine discovered missing, stated that cops were called at that time. No cops came.
Friday (March 4 ) stated that cops were called again, cops come, fill out report.
Tuesday (March 8 ) I drive out to shop to pick up car. I am then informed that the car has had things stolen out/off of it. I have to call the police to get my name on the police report.
So far I have been extremely displeased with the shops response to this. They did, after a pause, say they would send me a check for the services performed on the engine that I had already paid for (which I received today). Other than that, Lindy's stated position is that "he can't be responsible for thieves" and doesn't have any insurance to cover this kind of loss. For me, however, I'm stuck having taken a car to a shop for a tuneup and bringing home what is, I'm told, likely a totaled vehicle with the shops response to be simply "not our problem".

| Tryed to warn you guys. This guy took me for a 1000 dallors to have some work done. Covered up rust holes and put a pan in that has to be reworked. If anyone gose there to have work done do so at you own risk. Shady guy there and never try's to fix the problem. |

I ordered a used early bus wiper motor w/arms from Herrell over three weeks ago,(Dec 28th)and still have not received it.And i keep getting the run around. If it's a shipping issue i will retract this feedback, but for now i am not happy with them at all. They said it was shipped out Friday, over two weeks ago. The other thing is,he still has the wiper motor ad still up. WTF....

The issue was letting the girl who was doing the Samba and e-mails go and getting the original girl back. He did take a couple of weeks to get things back in order, but the shipping and the e-mail situation is back under control and things are back on schedule. I apologize for the delay in the shipping of your package and for any inconvience that it may have caused you. The reason that the ad is still up is because we had more than one. _________________ Lindy |

Paid for this wiper 10 days ago and have yet to hear from Jamie despite numberous (unanswered) emails. Not sure of what else to do. I did see the lengthy discussion about problems with the stolen engine and the inability to refund that money.
So far I'm not a happy customer. Please Herrell bug parts/Jamie do the right things. |

| I attempted to purchase a part, but the seller could not locate it. However, communication with April was prompt and my money was cheerfully refunded. I wouldn't hesitate to make a future purchase! |

Good ol'Herrell's!!! We searched thesamba for a month+...countless emails sent...only these good folks had the used 73 ghia elect. loom/connectors we so badly needed. Email was a bit slow....as was getting the part shipped but, well worth the wait! Patience can be rewarding!
