My nephew and his bride asked if they could use my Ghia in their wedding pictures last August (2010). They also used it as their "get-away" car after the reception.

Just cheered myself up by posting a new Desktop background after my 7 year old hard drive decided to bale-out.
Lost hundreds of pictures but had the sense to back up my Ghia pictures on my wife's laptop.

Is it only fitted on one point of the roof rail on each side _________________ With cordial "Karmann Ghia"-greetings from Germany

Yes, one clamp on each side holds it down. There are soft pads that go across the rack where it touches the roof of the car. _________________ Jeff
