Is there any method to remove the outer layer of gum when applying massive amounts BONDO (plastic filler) so I can have a little money left over(after buying sand paper) to paint the bus. It`s a Bus not a Van. Embarassed

Right after it kicks, you can mow most of the high places down with a "cheese grater" wood rasp. There is a fairly short time when it is set but still very soft. You can do the rough shaping very quickly at that point.
