does anyone know where i can get a light bulb for this nos bosch stop light. its 5in with the bulb holder diamiter of 3/4 inch. can anyone point me to a part number for a bulb. tahnx

Probably a rear foglamp. Probably never stock on a VW, so the year makes no difference.
Can you show a picture of the bulb holder? |

Not sure if the number '327' on the sticker is a date code. If it is, then it is from July 1973. _________________ DHC

| Looks like an ordinary single filament stop/brake bulb to me, voltage of your choice. |

What would the 6v equivalent of this be? osram 7309 12v 35w? _________________

being seen is the goal here so go for the highest watt bulb that will fit inside the housing!
The brighter the better  _________________ drive it like you just robbed the bank
you don't have to be crazy to be into VW's, but it sure helps!!

Hello.
7309 = 12V 35W
7315 = 6V 35W
are bulbs for old bilux fog lights, at the pic the fog light bulbs are "für Nebelscheinwerfer"
