does anyone know where i can get a light bulb for this nos bosch stop light. its 5in with the bulb holder diamiter of 3/4 inch. can anyone point me to a part number for a bulb. tahnx

Probably a rear foglamp. Probably never stock on a VW, so the year makes no difference.

Can you show a picture of the bulb holder?

Not sure if the number '327' on the sticker is a date code. If it is, then it is from July 1973.

Looks like an ordinary single filament stop/brake bulb to me, voltage of your choice.

What would the 6v equivalent of this be? osram 7309 12v 35w?

being seen is the goal here Exclamation so go for the highest watt bulb that will fit inside the housing!

Hello.

7309 = 12V 35W
7315 = 6V 35W

are bulbs for old bilux fog lights, at the pic the fog light bulbs are "für Nebelscheinwerfer"
