How awesome was today??? The awesomest!!!! Greg came to the OCTO meet for a short visit! It was great to see him there. He has come such a long way since the accident. I know in my heart that one day he will be 100% again! Prayers are truly being answered. Greg is living proof of that.
Please continue to remember him in your prayers, and slide a little $ into the fund when you can. The Contreras Family is a worthy cause. Very Happy

As I went to go talk to Corona Ryan about my speedo issues, I saw Ryan walking towards me with a group of people I didn't recognize, except one. It was Greg. Although I don't remember meeting him previously, I recognized him from the pics on here. And it made me very happy to see him back at his old stomping grounds. I can only hope that he and his family had as much fun that day as I did, especially after I saw him.

Well, it's been 2 years today since Gregs accident. God continues to perform his healing. It is amazing to see. I hear that Greg will be starting back with physical therapy soon, so that's good. Please remember the Contreras family in your prayers, I do.

Would someone be so kind to give a few details on Greg and how his recovery is going? The questions I have are: Is he back to normal - walking, talking all that jazz? What kind of physical therapy is he going through? Can we get some photos of Greg?

I apologize if these questions have already been answered, I just couldn't seem to find the answers.

Hi I saw Greg and Carrie at a party for them a couple weeks ago. Greg is making huge progress , he is eating on his own, speaking even starting conversations. Greg is home from the hospital/recovery center. Greg smiles and laffs often. Greg is learning to walk again and is giving it great effort. Carrie is hands down the strongest woman I ever met. Greg is going threw exspensive therpy and treatments. Some insurance doesnt cover.
Here is where the VW community can once again can do some good in the life of this family. A FUNDRAISER Smile

We are having a fundraiser party at our house In Huntington Beach with a silent auction and a live Blues Band. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for Greg and Carrie. The date is July 10th 2011 at 2pm 14951 Northridge Lane Huntington Beach Ca 92647. This is the date the band White Boy James and the Blues express picked and donated their services. If you would like to do a vw cruise that ends up in Huntington Beach PLEASE remember to drive slow through the neighbor hood. My neighboors were kind enough to go with the flow.
