I recently bought a 69 for a daily driver/restore project. Upon working on this thing I have noticed alot of original parts made in Canada. I was also looking at the interior and it is all original red leatherette. I have alot of friends that have never seen that particular color in a 69. Could someone shed some light on this car. Finding it strange with the color and the parts from Canada all over it.

As far as I know the '69 US models never came with red, but that doesn't mean somebody didn't change it out in the past. I believe black, white and tan were the only options check the technical header up above for more info.
Does it have low backs or high backs? High backs are what it should have.

The seats in my '69 were originally red... high backs with two buttons below the wide-ass headrests.
