3rd Annual Central Virginia Vintage Volkswagens Show and Swap
Sat. June 18th, 2011 9am – 3pm
Iron Bridge Sports Park
11400 Iron Bridge Road
Chester, VA 23831
(just south of Richmond, VA)
Calling all Air and Water-Cooled VWs!!! This year the Ironbridge Sports Park will be hosting our show. Besides checking out the coolest VWs around, you can hit the driving range, play some mini-golf or cruise around in the go-carts! Plenty of fun and food available all at reasonable prices!
Pre-registration: $15
Day of Show: $20
Used/New Parts Vendors: $25
Show Time: 9am – 3pm
Vendor Setup: 7:30am – 9am
Registration: 9am – 12pm
Awards: 2:45pm

A few pics from last year...we had over 100 cars and 12 new/used parts vendors and we are expecting an even bigger turnout this year!!!

Was thinking about making the trip from myrtle beach to the show, but I can't get ahold of anyone to find out anything more about it. Phone number listed says no longer in service and email does not go through???

About how many cars do you expect to make it? Mostly aircooled?

Last year we had just over 100 cars and are expecting more than that this year. Most of the cars were air-cooled...I think we had 2 or 3 water coolers show up. It was a great turnout for a 2nd annual show and we are well advertised for this year. We have ads on thesamba.com, in HOT VWs and various other air-cooled VW websites. We are expecting big things for this year's show! Come on out!

| Ill be djing the show and will have my bus there. Just got word one vendor is a custom pin striper and another will photograph u and ur car and print it on a shirt. |

Torque VW will also be there covering the show, taking tons of pictures and writing up an article on their website! Lots of new and used parts vendors...plenty of activities for the kids...we've even added a couple new awards this year!

Weather is going to be great this Saturday...partly cloudy with a mid to high 80's during the show. As a result we are getting some more last minute new and used parts vendors signing up.
One great thing about this show is the indoor snack bar...sit in the A/C and enjoy a burger or ice cream. The snack bar will also be setting up a stand outside for those who don't like straying too far from their cars.
Expecting 150 cars this year...get your ride ready and come on out in your VW!

A great show!!!!
About 100+ cars turned out and numerous vendors. Venue was very nice with food, drinks and very clean restrooms.
Well run event with excellent announcements, information and organization.
Thanks to al the C3V's people who made if fun. A great group of guys.
