This is the fourth pre-'58 westy I've had the opportunity to lay my eyes on that have come from my area. Still need to make that "long" drive in to your place to check it out in person. |

I agree with 55 samba,don't sell...never sell!
Beyond great first bus. When restoring, use only original metal sections, don't be fooled. Nothing beat's original. Trust me on this, especially for Wolfsburg buses. Many here can help, including me. Ask all the questions you want. Don't be afraid too. You have a very nice original bus...with beer! |

I still have yet to get my first bus. If I stumbled into a find like that, there is no way anyone could convince me to sell it. I would go into debt to find second bus more suiting to carrying your kids in and have two.
Hang on to it. |

In debt, over a bus? Yeah that's a good idea. _________________ I build complete Westy Style camping interiors check them out here > www.rjcampers.com

Convince with words over the internet and convince with money in hand are two different things. I should clarify I was speaking about words over the internet.

Good luck to the original poster and what he has. |

| Having sat across the table from Bandet and listened to his discussions on the westy, he has a great love for his first find. We have begun planning a BBQ at his place with that Westy as the platform for open discussion (it is the central attraction, plus we like Bandet too). Everyone in our little East Idaho VW Club share his enthusiasm. So within the next few weeks we will be gathering to gawk and ewww and ahhh...... |
