Yes, Oz still operate under the Queen, so we drive on the correct side of the road... Laughing
...I'm guessing this is why NASCAR can't hop the monster pond ... It's the whole can't turn right real fast thing... Or would that be left there. Great now I'm freaking out too. .

Geebs, is this track backwards or what... LOL : )=

But looking good so far there DieSchnelleKafer!

Nascar don't turn well in any direction, look up the V8 Supercar championships over here, it'll explain why Marcus Ambrose can turn corners.

Keep up the good work on this Dershnellkafer, good to meet you the other day.

Back off LT. The Queen is head of state here in Canada and WE drive on the right side of the road.

hi schwing, thanks for asking, bad and good news

Bad news:
long story short i had not put enough effort into measuring and adjusting the fit of the heater channel, the rear end was to low and didnt allow for the seal to be inplace but the front had a ample amount of gap, so the a pillar dropped and the b pillar rose.. so basically i had to undo all of the work done to the A and B pillar and start again, and to make matters worse i cant do any of this until a hinge pin arrives from wolfsburgwest!

GOOD NEWS:
i have finally sourced some fenders, 250 dollars for 4, really good condition aswell, i am going to go pick them up this weekend. its about a 2 hour trip

also: i decided to sell the repro H apron i bought from KDF services, (it had a deffect that i couldnt be bothered fixing and also i want to make the H apron removable so theres no point in cutting up a complete H apron)

so with the money i sold it for i am going to be buying one of these and making it removable:

Hey that sounds like progress to me!
Don't let the heater channels get you down. I ran into the same problem with my build. My passenger heater channel was too low and I made a rookie mistake and removed the frame to fiddle with it, which then caused my door gap to be way out. Just be glad you have the sense to discover these things before you go to paint.

Just take your time and think through each step and you'll be fine. Nice work.

over here we say: Meten is weten ! which actually means to measure is to know! Wink when I was working on the heater channel I went over to the other side to measure it several times because I was affraid I might make such mistake... I'd kill myself ! Very Happy BUT I make several other mistakes so... Twisted Evil Embarassed

Always remember... nobody's perfect! and so isn't any resto! there's always something missing or wrong... they just don't like to tell ... Razz
