is it at all possible to make the box where you upload pics to a classified any wider? i often find it difficult to keep track when uploading multiple pics to ads because i can't see the end of the pic names i've already uploaded, then i need to go back to some (or all) the pics i have uploaded to the ad to see which files are already there. sometimes this gets very confusing if adding pictures from multiple sources (photo card, various files on computer).
i noticed the boxes in the gallery are wide and that size usually works great. i feel like this got brought up a few years ago and was not changed for a certain reason, but i looked and could not find the thread about it.

I can't remember this coming up.
I made the Classifieds photo upload boxes match the Gallery upload boxes in size.
It may have come up years ago when I didn't want to increase the width of the form due to tons of people still being on 640 or 800 pixel-wide computer resolution. I pretty much design for 1024 pixels at this point as that is the typical minimum.
Thank you. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

Since the Gallery has a Bulk Upload option, wouldn't is be relatively simple to implement the same feature for the Classifieds? The current method is cumbersome, having navigate back to a folder and remembering which photos were selected for uploading. _________________ -

What bulk upload?
The gallery and the classifieds have the same series of photo upload boxes.
I typically do my classifieds photos in order so they are easy to pick - 1,2,3,4.
Maybe it's easier for me because all my classifieds photos are named and indexed - bus_air_cleaner_40hp_1.jpg, bus_air_cleaner_40hp_2.jpg, and so on. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

I'm sorry, I had two trains of thought when I composed that. I was thinking of how the single description for multiple photos simplified the gallery and that it would be nice if the Classifieds had a bulk upload option like Photobucket. Although the Mac has a more simplistic management and organization of photos, the one drawback is having to navigate to the album for each additional picture to be uploaded. Unless it's a browser configuration on my part, clicking on the filename box opens the file explorer for a Mac; otherwise, I would copy & paste an indexed name into each filename box and modify it for the unique filename before the upload. _________________ -

Unfortunately it is a function of the browser on whether it lets you cut & paste a filename into the upload "file" boxes.
I use Firefox and it used to let you cut & paste but it no longer allows that, to aid in security. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

That's what I wondered, because I used Camino before switching back to Firefox. Both browsers are written by Mozilla.
A bulk uploaded akin to what Photobucket has would be great if it's possible. _________________ -
