7.00x15s are going to be 29-31 inches tall depending on the tire. Narrow and tall is a hard combo to come across. most of the time, youll only find street tires like that. check one of the sticky tire threads to see what you can find. one of them has links to those hard to find tires.

Anything wrong with running a trailer type tire in the front for the road?

umm, for street use? its doubtful. most tire shops wont mount a trailer tire on a street car. those tires just cant handle the speeds. most trailer tires are rated to 65. i believe that at minimum, a street tire is rated to 90.

I just want to find something that will fit on a 7.5" rim that has somewhat of a rounded type tread (not flat) and is no taller than 27".. I currently have 215/75R15's in the front and it looks like it belongs on a classic Mustang or something..

this might help you out some. Lotrat shared this link for me on Poomwah's tire sticky http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=133706 it has all of the weird tires that are hard to find. hopefully thatll help.

i understand what you mean. im running street tires on my car. the fronts they are flat tread, which makes for squirrelly handling in sand.

Ok guys, one more quick question. Would a 235/75 be safe to mount on the stock rim? Just measured mine and it was 4.5". If not what size WOULD be safe to mount? And if I still wanted the 235/75 how wide of a wheel would be best?

im not sure about stock rim. but, im pretty sure i was running 215s on my car, and those were mounted on a 6 inch i think they are. so that would lead me to believe that it wouldnt be a good idea to mount 235/75s on a stock. i think that would be too narrow.

all good friends, I am changing my buggy and I changed the tires and modified the suspension and all mechanical

and would like the opinion of the gentlemen on my tires, 100% off road, as in 235/75/15, remembering that I'm from Brazil, and the tires are repados with this design ....

Hey, I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up concerning the Trxus Super Swamper tires and issues they are having with them.. Below are the details I posted on another forum.. I would steer clear of these tires..

I purchased some new 33x12.5-16 Trxus Super Swamper Radial M/T tires and the local tire shop cant even balance them.. The tire shop also said the tires have as much as 6oz of weight patched into the tires on the inside and they rarely ever see that much weight patched into a new tire.. So I contacted Summit Racing, who I purchased them from and before I even told him what tire, HE ALREADY KNEW and said they were having issues with the Super Swamper tires.. He then put me on hold, called the manufacturer and they told him "6oz of weight is very common" so I asked him "based on what"? By the way, my 2009 Hummer only has 11,000 miles on it and drove as smooth as glass, and the wheels have very little weight on them.. Summit then offered to send me replacements but said they will probably have the same patched weights and probably do the same thing, since it seems to be a common problem anyways.. So they told me to send the tires back for a refund.. I said who is going to pay the tire shop to dismount the "defective" tire and re-mount the originals back on again? "We'll sir, it states on your receipt we don't cover any of that, even if the tires are bad".. So in the end, I have wasted 3 trips to the tire shop, which is over 20 miles away and now have even more added costs just to get back to where I started from.. NEVER again will I deal with Summit or any tire that "Interco" makes, which includes Trxus tires..

Obviously Summit knows they are having issues with these tires and I couldn't believe they wouldn't offer me SOMETHING to make up for my loss, and since I spend a ton of money there.. I even ask what other tire could they replace them with and he wouldn't even recommend another tire.. Can you believe that? I have Goodyear MTR's on my 1/2 ton pickup and they never had balancing issues..
By the way, Interco Tire Company has an automated answering service with NO options to actually talk to a live person so getting any immediate tech support person is impossible..

Is anyone running 7.00 x 15 M/T Baja Pro's on the front?

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

I'm thinking of getting some for my Manx buggy which sees about 40% road and 60% off road use. Do you think they will wear out quickly on a light buggy?

Fox 2.5 remote reservoir coil-overs all round. Not sure about the suspension travel but hope for about 10-12" at both ends Very Happy

A 700 15 may be a stretch for stock suspension on the front. They are around 28.5 to just under 28.7 inches tall depending on manufacture.

A 205 75 15 will fit with stock suspension and has a overall height around 27.1 to 27.2 inches tall.
