Who is coming to NW Mog Fest this weekend?
I am so excited to finally try out my new bumper in the pit this year. Last year I got fed up with my GW bumper plowing dirt and went home after MF and built this one:
Mog Fest inspired and soon to be Mog Fest tested, a whole year of waiting. I also can't wait to try out my 6.17 R&P.
Here is a great pic of "the pit"

I don't have full build thread but here are pics of building the bumper:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/subyvanagon/sets/72157624970330925/
Here are some of the specs:
2wd automatic converted to syncro
subaru 2.5 motor using small car kit (Delta cam shafts, full rebuild ~5k miles so far)
full reinforced skid plates front to rear (not the weak stock ones)
pathfinder swing out tire carrier
front and rear lockers, decoupler, solid shaft, 6.17 R&P, .73 4th, and 1.09 3rd
Kennedy stage 2 clutch pressure plate
BFG MT 30x9.5x15 on eurovan steelies (BFG AT 225/75/16 road tires on MB wheels)
930 CVs and axles front and rear
added stock cruise control and pwr windows
Syncro .org springs, OME shocks front, ProComp adjustable shocks on the rear
still need to instal longer rear control arms so I can use chains in the winter
Audi G60 big brakes in front
PowerFlex bushings
Propex heater
Pete I hope you have some more beer additive this weekend! _________________ 1987 Syncro (converted 2WD auto)

What is this fest of which you speak of and why am I just learning about it
I am heading out Thursday late morning to claim my real estate and have plenty of time to get to know the terrain. Looking forward to some swimming, trail rides, beer consumption and European 4WD fun. Anyone need info, look at my sigline for details. This is the coolest event in the NorthWest and not to be missed. If you do not have a Syncro or Euro 4WD, just ask for a ride....you just would not believe the amount of sharing and caring that this event affords us.
WOOOOT! See you there.

We usually meet up front by the road, in the morning (I think around 9) and head out to Brown's camp from there. _________________ 1987 Syncro (converted 2WD auto)

I'll be driving with the wife and kids on Friday night, my first MogFest ever !
Brand new Suby engine conversion (3 days ago), no skid plate installed yet (so probably won't be able to play too much, but will try to watch and learn as much as I can) _________________ 87 Syncro Westy EJ25 |

HEY I just have not gotten around to the new tires yet....kinda had a few other things to sort out. You will be happy that the fanbelt squeal is back though Pete.
Eric was talking about Thursday afternoon for a trail ride as well. Funny, the only time my syncro has been offroad was on the way home from purchasing it in Tillamook when I stopped at Browns Camp. _________________ Jeffrey Carter ~o~ PDX Thread ~o~NWMF2013
