| I'm interested in visiting as many VW shops as I can while I'm there. I saw an online map, showing all the vw related shops in SoCal, but I can't remember where I saw it. Anyone know what I'm talking about? |

I don't recall an online map, but there was a print map in the most recent issue of VW Trends.
There is an official Classic website here: http://www.vwclassic.com/Classic/index.shtml
It does list the week's event info, including the open houses, but no map that I recall. |

| Thanks Deaffy! I'm such a dumbshiat. The VW Trends map is what I was thinking of. I guess I'm online too much and can't remember what I read in print vs. what I see on the web. |

| Hi everybody, my 17 year old daughter Victorya and I are pretty new to the VW seen. I had a 1977 bus 6 years ago, and now I just got one 1970 Westy for Victorya. We are leaving it at home because it still needs a thorough check-up. But we are going to the Classic and we are staying at the Hilton. Anyone out there with teens around her age for her to hang with? I want her to see some really cool buses and come back inspired. Can we hitch a ride with someone from the hotel to the Classic? We'll try to hitch another ride back to the hotel. Thanks for sharing. Elizabeth Jade |

Hey everybody...if you are in town on Friday, swing by Oldbug.com in Brea...we will will have a big pile of cars to see. The address is on our website.
We are also looking for drivers for some of the cars we need to bring down to the show. We will have our own caravan down there, most likely bringing most of the cars down Saturday afternoon/evening, and then a cruise back up to the shop after the event. No funny business...gotta know ya and trust ya before I toss you the keys, but its a fun thing to do if you dont have your own VW here to drive (last year we had some guys from Sweden, the year before that a group from Japan...too much fun). |
