i wouldn't have done that any differently. nice work. i fuggin love it! Cool

Im sorry John! It does look good What greg did to it, however i liked it stock when you had it much better. I know the trouble you went to to get it that nice. I think I barfed in my mouth a little at first when i saw it dropped on earlies, which like empi 5 spokes are played out.

I think if I just read this correct he said your car sucks.

I don't know if he said *that* but even if he did, you got it right when you said "your car" which we all know means I'll do with it what I want. I'm not particularly concerned with the people that don't like it, cause I do.

I've been told I "ruined" it and that it's "disgraceful", among other things. I guess we can add "it sucks" to the list as well.

I mean, c'mon look at this thing now. We should add "embarrassing to the list also.

Everyone had the chance to buy that fine car, but YOU stepped up.........
We all know it's got the correct manifold!!!! Smile

It's the peanut gallery Greg... Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one. Who cares what anyone thinks. Like Mike said, it's YOUR car now. I hope whoever is sending you their opinions is including pics of their cars so you can see who THEY are Laughing It would be a miracle if they even owned a super beetle.....

Gee, 10 years I had that car and it never got this much attention.

As I have told Greg (and others), not my taste, but not my car any more, so what? That, and I respect Greg's mechanical abilities. No hack work there.

Just glad to see it is being driven and enjoyed. I sure as hell enjoyed it (and yes am starting to miss it........ Sad )

Glad I could help.

When you get a second can you start a build thread on your car so we can get in there and tell you what we would have done and what is or isn't played out, and how you could have done something better.....I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks

Thanks, but saying I "built" it is a bit of a stretch.
I bought it, lay'd it out, and drive it.

What's my percentage, Eric?

Cool

I was just glad to do it, to tell the truth. Your dad is as cool as they come, and so is your mom. I'm super stoked they used the photo of you and Papa Deen in the article. he deserves it.
Still waiting to hear on the "Coffey-Mobile".....

I tried to but you seemed to be busy every time I saw you. My car is still in So Cal, maybe when I head down to get it we'll meet up.
