Who's going next Sunday? If I can get away from work, I'll be there with my 52 split.

If this East Coast weather will finally give us a break, I'm going.
The B.O.N.E. club gang should be there as well. |

Well, the sky wasn't clear, cold and drizzle instead.
Took the bug, which is watertight, instead of the leaky bus.
Had a good time, and got some bargains.
A nice show, overall.
Eddie says it was a "Swamp Meet", which just about sums up the mud situation.

| Seemed like a stronger showing of type2's this year despite the weather-I got parked right next to the red 71 westy with the tent, man! talk about eye candy! |

| it was nice to meet some of the forums people at the show. the weather was perfect for a swap--cool, overcast with no real precipitation--just a few minutes of real light drizzle that was hardly noticeable. not the sweltering heat/humidity and baking sun of many maple groves gone by. the mud was kinda a mess, but i had my boots on and had dry feet all day. plus it was fun to watch some of the people try to get out of the mud in the swap area at the end of the day. the swap was huge this year and i found alot of older bus parts this time as opposed to last year where i hardly found anything, and great deals as always. even the show area was pretty full although it REALLY SUCKED to have to walk around the drag strip just to get to it (all that wasted time i could have spent in the swap area!!). |
