Hey Everett, you need a General electrical forum for all custom and misc. electrical problems. Things like stereo systems, HID headlights, battery's, LED lighting ect. In my case my car is a 55 but nothing is stock on my wiring so it makes no sence to post ?s in the 53-57 section.

This is an old argument that's been repeatedly shot down.

Did not know that.
It seams like if a electronicly savvy guy wanted to help someone out with his electrical he would have to watch every section over and over to catch someones post. If it's been brought up many times before then it only makes sence to add a section.

General electrical questions can be placed in the General Forum.

This is true anyway as people would still post electrical questions in the specific vehicle type sections.

Overall, what you asre asking for is true of lots of things - brakes/transmissions/etc.
There are things that could be handled by an dedicated Forum and there are things that are model-specific so we have chosen to keep things model-specific or direct people to use the General Forum.
