I bought my first car Vanagon Syncro recently but the kid I got it from had taken the drive shaft? out (or the bar that connects the 4wd). I am going to put it back in but I noticed that it is different on one side. I dont know which direction it goes. Please help. What ekse should I know Question Anyone with a syncro have Any pics or can tell me. Thanks.

Do you know why he took it out? If it was for u-joints, it is my understanding that you can't put u-joints in without having the shaft balanced by someone who knows what they are doing. Or buy a rebuilt shaft for a good chunk of cash. Do a little more research, may save you some trouble. Http://www.vanagon.com has lots of good syncro info.
