next update; it took a while but it's a big one now
finished the inner wheel side;
made the outer plate for the chassis support;
made the corner piece already as well;
and last we did today was putting the chassis under the body so we can measure tomorrow in which position we need to weld in the support.
started on the lower corner as well already as well.

today's update;
finished off the chassis support;
If anyone is interested in an original rear corner for oval ...
Everyhing cut out;
and we received a package from Sweden today
but now their seems to be a difference between the original rear quarter panel and the one from Wolf... Has anone ad this before already as well? I made some detailed pics. Original = on the edge, Wolfs' = +-1cm above the edge...

Great metal work! Wow you've had quite the challenge here but I see you are taking your time one section at a time. You'll be done before you know it. Keep at it. _________________ My '57 build:

thanks! and it's best to do it that way (i think ) , section by section, I'd rather cut out a small piece of sheet which is extra of the fresh repaired section in stead of patching up afterwards. _________________ Oval bug '56 "Marie" (*resto*)

great job so far and i agree if you look at an overall pic of the work needed you may get frustrated.
one section at a time and before you know it the job is not nearly as frightening
great job again

Its not a bug you are out of bandwidth foe a free account. That's how they (photo bucket) make their money, getting people to upgrade to their paid for accounts.. just like Flickr and many others _________________ L331 Horizon Blue January 1957 Canadian Deluxe Oval Beetle

You can upload them straight from your pc into the gallery Rud!
No need for flickr or photobucket then. Resize them is all you need to do.
Great progress, btw, the hard to do job that is, those nasty little corners!
It's looking great! _________________ "Hot chili peppers in the blistering sun" |

Yep bandwidth is the amount of data that was used for people to load/see the pictures - not the space they take on their servers.
The samba gallery is great, but if you like photobucket (keeping all pics full sized is very nice) it may be worth paying for a premium account. I've been paying for Flickr for years and always enjoyed having it.
Looking forward to study all the photos! _________________ L331 Horizon Blue January 1957 Canadian Deluxe Oval Beetle
