NEED HELP, I'm totally stumped on this one...
I picked up this clock at Bug Jam last weekend and have not been able to identify what/where it's from. As you can see, it is in what looks to be an angled cast aluminum mount and appears to be quite old. One of my "family friend" contacts in Switzerland has seen these photos and didn't know where it came from or for what application it was intended, all that has been agreed on is that it is not Mercedes.
Condition: needs a good cleaning but is keeping fairly good time (has lost 5 minutes in 48 hours). Clock is 4.5" (114mm) across the face.
Value: Anyone's guess...

| It isn't a VW clock. The mechanism should be the same as a late Split Beetle clock. VDO made clocks for almost every major German brand. |

I understand and appreciate the input, I'm hoping that someone will see this forum topic and recognize this clock or the mount. I've also emailed VDO to see if they have a historian... anything I find out will be posted.
Any input or possible history would be appreciated, this can't be a one-off clock. _________________ - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Searching the net I get a lot of similar ones from a BMW motorcycle or porce 30-50's. But not that numbering. _________________ 1973 Super Beetle l 1981 Trans Am |

Pretty sure that clock was used in coaches/buses. It was installed above the driver so passengers could see the time. _________________ DHC
