|
|
I've seen a long time ago a German company who made a folding writing table for use in a beetle, a 1950's accessory for either drivers or passenger sides would work and it could support a typewriter or books for reading or map use while driving, or you could also eat off it.
I think it was made from heavy duty plastic or wood and they were light in color, beige or light blue? Can't remember?
Does anyone know what I'm talking about and also have any pictures?
I've searched all over the net for photos and nothing, I know that about 6 to 8 weeks ago someone on ebay.de sold one but I forgot to save the auction number
Thanks

No those weren't the style of tables I've seen before, this table was larger than those, could hold a typewriter.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it had legs, that were supported underneath to the top of the seat bottom.

Well, someone on ebay.de just sold like 2 or 3 of them for under $200, I FORGOT TO SAVE THE LINKS!
As I recall they were I think light blue or grey in color, that's why they caught my eye and also while I need a accessory table to use as a prop when photographing my PinUp models doing the sexy secretary thing with a typewriter.......someone must know this table? Maybe some German collectors have seen which one I mean?

That one is interesting, works on the glove box door, but the one I'm talking about is much bigger (wider and deeper)
and can support the weight of a portable typewriter.
