been working on this for a bit now. getting closer. its a 2000 Vr6 mated to a 1991 w series toyota trans. the vr6 is stock other then the intake and relocated alt. it replaced all the timing chain guides and resealed the whole thing. ill be running megasquirt. if there is any interest in enough people wanting adapterplates, some will be made.

This is the correct are for this, although if it's not going into a VW... maybe not unless your have VR6 questions that need answers.

This would be an excellent option for someone wanting to make a vw powered rwd drift or rally car. I see nothing wetting with it and it's just another option to get vw powered projects together. The attitudes recieved here are why most every odd project is chevy powered, because anyone stepping outside the norm gets their nuts stomped on.

why? because too many folks jump to conclusions about what folks are "implying" rather than reading what was *actually* written? I agree WAY too many people here do that.... Confused

haters gonna hate.

But as I enjoy MOST any perversion of mating two un-likely brands, I would like to know what the final potential donor body is receiving it.

Please post pictures as your putting this into its new home.

What can you tell us about the new throttle body setup?

I'd love to watch this project. That bell housing looks like it has some nice custom welds on it, can we see more. I give you credit for doing this rather than just sitting around talking about doing something. I am wondering why you are choosing to go with megasquirt rather than using a stock ECM?
