Had fun driving our beat-up old '50 Deluxe Sedan (chassis no. 1-185 699, August 17, 1950 production, L11 Pastel Green) a few times this year.

This photo is from a trip to a car show that was listed as "rain or shine" and was in its 45th year--the "Belltown" show, August 7th, 2011, at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds, in Haddam Neck, CT (ref: http://www.belltownantiquecarclub.org/).

I drove there in the rain, and upon arrival was told by the remaining club volunteers that the show had been cancelled.

I stopped at the old "Sunrise Resort" in Moodus, CT (now closed, as the state purchased it a few years back) on the way home for a photo-op in the rain, on Sunrise's front driveway:
