No, No, buy a bently manual!.HAYNES tell you jack Sh*t.
The bently manual is Bible of the manuals for our beloved babys.

It sounds like the lifters they are hydrolic.
10/30 casteroil high mileage. all day long.
The big grren jug at Wally world.18 dollars and you have a fifth quart to
save for back up.
I guess it time to add a quart=need another oil change.
Vwhoretex is a happy place.

so, question, i havent gotten my bentleys yet. i wanted to go get some oil, how much does this model type take ?

Correct on the haynes.....I wouldn't level my couch with that rag. Incorrect on the oil. 83 scirrocco again doesn't used the engine the op has asked questions about. This is a 2.0 Aba so let's not confuse an admitted newb with info that doesn't concern him.

Your engine holds 4.5 quarts. Use the oil weight I previously spec'd....mann filters are good so stock up on them because the internet isreally the only place you'll find them

Mk2 (a2) and the mk3 (a3) are different animals when it comes to engines. The heads are completely different so oil recomendations are different because they do not oil the same.
