All I can say is for this topic to last it should be specific to the plate frames that are actually on YOUR specific vehicles and not just ANY plate frames you have laying around or this will end up being another "plate frames and dealers" topic and then locked. Its already pretty close as is, but I'm interested to see what people actually have on their vehicles and not just on their walls and in boxes of their collections. I'd also be interested to know if the dealer frame people have on their VW is actually the one that their car came from. If so please note that in your post.
Here's mine on my original '65. I'm the second owner and its always been a Pennsylvania car. It was sold new at this dealer. They are still open today selling VW's and Porsches. Some might recognize the name Holbert who was a famous Porsche racer. They are only about 2 hours away from where I live now. :

Edit: Forgot to mention that my '64 was bought new at Leroy Cannon Motors in Greenville SC, and I was able to get the tag frame a few years ago from a member that lives in Greenville.
