took the old dash top off and found this date stamped underneath it, is that the date the dash top was made or the car itself?

Headlining fitted today, not perfect but better than the old torn one that was in it originally

Great progress! My 70 Notch needs new paint and some minor body/rust work. That will have to wait until I move back to the states. Such work here in Germany is way too costly!

Where did you find the "new" front turn signals (base, lens, and seal)? They are not only unavailable, but made from unobtainium!

I got the turn signal bodies from here on the Samba Smile seals and very rare Italian spec lens were found at a swap meet here in the U.K Smile

well my Notch has been back on the road for a few month's now, went straight through the MOT Smile still got a few little bits and bobs to get for it, it's not the worlds best paint job, but it was painted in a open car port about 100 yards from the sea!
