Hello,
first let me say, that this is really a great threat! Thanks for the great input.
Now my problem:
When I bought my ´64 deluxe it was suplied with an incomplet interieur in the colourcombination like in the photo. Does anyone know this combination?
Is there a possibility to get some of that material?
Thanks,
Michael

Is the photo yellow looking due to incandescent bulb lighting?
Is the material grey or brown/gold in color?
Grey would be grey sides and mesh grey seat faces, like this:
Brown to gold would be mesh platinum, like this:
From seats I've seen, the solid grey sides have a mottled appearance, like the grey photo above. The mesh platinum solid color isn't mottled, but ages strangely over the years turning brown or gold.
The mesh platinum middle seat above is about the nicest original seat which isn't sitting in an attic in Westminster, CA. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

You´r right, the photo is a bit yellow looking, but the material isn´t brown, it´s a bit more green (also the sides) then in the photo. |

I just found this mint 66 middle seat, it was used for maybe 2 years and then the owner stored it in his garage until now. It still has gum wrappers from 1966 in the ash tray! |

^^^ that's beautiful. I love middle seats and this thread. I really don't have to like buses much- but they're such a logical place in which to carry a middle seat around. _________________

I have T1 1964 231 with strange number of mounts?
Only two for middle seat and one for back seat
For middle seat,one on left(drivers)side,down
And second on right side,up
In two central no one
Similar is for back seat.Left(Drivers)side have, right no
Reason?

Looks like they broke off from rust.
For reference, 64s only have 2 mounts for the rear seat base. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

A LOT! |
I can only imagine how many where chunked in favor of a home made camper kit. |
Mine was given to me after spending 40 + year on the gallery of a maple shack! Only need to find the bus that go with it.
