You laugh about '80s cars becoming classics? How about 80's computers?

there's a nice late 80's/90's mac classic... for $185. I have one in my basement that I got for free in fourth grade Laughing If they're $185 now I'll wait 50 years til it's worth $20,0000 Laughing

Is that $20,0000 or $20,000? Either way, keeping old crap in the hopes that it will be worth something someday will get you a starring spot on the next "Hoarders" episode.

People say the US is too spread out to run trains and such as they do in Europe, yet that was the norm until the 1950's. The best thing cities and States could do is to make cities less friendly for automobiles and end their sprawl, thereby concentrating on mass transit. I'd much rather take a train out of State than receive a Freedom Fondle before getting jammed in a giant Tylenol capsule and hope the ~200 of us aren't stuck on the tarmac for 2+ hours. The best hope for the future is to crush, crush, and crush cars to produce bullet trains.

In the 1950's we had different expectations of travel. Bullet trains would be nice though, as traveling by airplane sucks big donkey balls.

We have folks in our little town trying to turn it into the big city they came from by attempting to eliminate automobile traffic and force people to hide their cars and walk everywhere. Many of us feel they are ruining this place and wish they would go back to the big city and swim in that big pond instead of our little one.

In my opinion, Sandpoint is one of those beautiful small towns that need to be left just the way it is. If those people want to live in a big city, LA has many empty houses on the cheap.

Collecting and Hoarding are two different beasts. I collect things, whereas, my grandmother hoards shit. The stuff she hoards is LITERALLY garbage.

So what is it when you aren't really collecting or hoarding and the stuff just piles up? Around here it seems to collect faster then I can get rid of it!
