|
Hello, Is there anyone familiar with this type of hurst knob?
I tried to find something about it but I didn't succeed. I hope somebody can tell me more about this knob. I only found out that they used to had a wooden or a Bakelite knob
Thanks!

| The early copper-plated shifters had a wooden knob; the chrome shifters had a black plastic knob. |

He's asking what knob he has so I'm guessing he know's it's not the correct knob and that he would like to know what shifter that the present shift knob he has goes to So the correct shifter that the knob he is asking about goe's to the flat stick shifter's _________________ EMPI KICK'S ASS EMPI KICK'S ASS

They do but I was just using that as an example for a flat stick shifter. You can use that hurst knob on any flat stick hurst shifter. There is no difference other than plastic vs metal. The thread is still the same. Unlike the black and wooden knob's they have different thread pitches because they were more widely used on more auto applications than the flat stick ones. _________________ EMPI KICK'S ASS EMPI KICK'S ASS

The knob he has looks like any of the generic Hurst "T" knobs you can buy. They also came with some shifters, but are typically an American car type of knob like what you'd expect to find in a mustang or a challenger. It's old, still made and hasn't really changed over the years, but not anything really fall on the floor, oh my god is that rare. _________________ Yeah I like Herbie AND New Beetles.
