I need some practice with it. It seems to be fairly well conductive, much better then JB was. Out gasses a little, but I think if you heat it to 150 or so for 15-20 mins it will fix that. Sanding it isn't fun either. The one part I coated twice came out the best. The shroud and 3 and 4 are getting a second coat too.
If you're using it to fill pits, it'd work great. _________________ My 71 Ghia Been in my family since 1980

Well, bad news. Looks like I'm going to have to sell the 67. They put a bunch of no parking signs up in our neighborhood and I need the garage for the Ghia. I'm really disappointed. I really felt like someday I'd finish it but now even if I do I have no place to put it.
Anyone interested? I'll make you a good deal. Otherwise I'll most likely part it and sell parts at the bug out after I sell the body. _________________ My 71 Ghia Been in my family since 1980

That sucks too. Were are you going to park your work truck? You're welcome to store some of the at the WTP. _________________ John

Sorry to hear that, Sean. I am positive that you would have gotten it done and that it would have been awesome.
If you need any temporary storage space, I'm a bit far away, but I have 15 acres across the road. No covered storage, but we could fix that... _________________ Mike

Thanks Mike. Currently I am working on a plan that I will store it at my old neighbor and friend, Andrew's house. Might be able to keep it. Really ready to move but can't, we're upside down.
6 years in the same place and one day they change the rules. Shannon and I specifically asked about parking before moving there too. Even talked to a town police officer before we wrote a contract. _________________ My 71 Ghia Been in my family since 1980

Sounds like someone pissed and moaned to the city. Stuff like this makes me glad that I live in the woods, way out in "Podunk". The offer is always open to you and club members (pending the boss's approval, of course). Hate to see anyone lose cars or parts due to lack of space. _________________ Mike

Funny thing is, we did live out in the woods. Pretty close to John's house on the mountain. You could easily park 10 cars in our old driveway. We wanted a garage and to be closer to town. Never again. _________________ My 71 Ghia Been in my family since 1980

Poor car. Haven't seen one that bad in a long time. |
I say buy it, make a road worthy rat rod, park it in the driveway. That will piss off the city snobs. |

The wheelie bars would have to go back on if you got that motor.... _________________ Deb
