What the hell is he looking for?
And why are the front bumpers missing.

He is looking for the bumpers and chrome wheelcovers... Laughing

Probably a transport solution ..no bumpers means smaller trucks to haul them.

I've noticed that before. It's odd because the row behind those cars has their bumpers.

Cal-look, obviously. Waiting for t bars to be fitted Laughing

These pictures are not old, these were taken last month at my compound. Dead giveaway is the girl. She's texting on her phone!

I've just been looking at the wonderful pictures posted on page 174 , by MDKG, on Feb 12th, 2012. The 46/47 Beetle looks great, and is a great reference for my rebuild, but I notice that in the one picture, the negative has obviously been used the wrong way round by TIME magazine i.e. the car appears to be right hand drive, and the horn is on the wrong side!

The picture lower down shows the boot/trunk area, with the horn on the correct side, which shows the car wasn't converted to right hand drive as the previous picture might suggest.

Looks like someone did a nice "one tire fire" and came around the block again to pose for a pic with it! lol.

That's the curb on the corner of the intersection.
