Wow, If I was not wraping it in leather and billet I would so do that. There is a guy who does the pedals that I was thinking of buying.

Should you ever get involved in one of those dune buggies that accept stock Beetle light assemblies, you could combine the drilled brake lever with a pair of these:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/hlight2.jpg

Just a drill bit, an old oven rack, a decal, and some paint. Happy to make you a pair if that time ever comes and the need arises.

I was asked what I was doing with the cover and dash. I figure photos can do a better job. When I do kustom work I have to figure ways to make my own parts. (This happens a lot.) Hence my tag name of Kustoms. I came up with this method. I tape off the aria I need to produce and apply wax then fiberglass. I then remove and trim it. Now I have a base to pad and cover.

The next photos are of the butt weld clamps and how they work. Someone PMed me about them so I thought I would share with everyone. You can get them from any auto body supply house but I just seen them at Harbor freight for a lot less.

You have to use "Gluten-fusion". I find them to be too small. Don't you?

Hey Tom,

How do you attach your custom covers when all finished? I know you won't have any exposed fasteners on that nice leather!

Looks great Tom! What are the electronic wa-wa balls that you're putting into the seats? Bass enhancers?

Back to the peddles.

The slip on custom peddle pads are so '60's.
The chrome peddles are so '70's
The billet peddles are so '80's
The after market peddles with MC'a attached are so '90's
The drilled peddles are so '00's

I think with Tom's imagination and creativity, he will come up with something ground breaking and image setting for the '10's on this buggy. Like maybe smoothed up early peddles painted a discrete color in a clean fashion.

Bingo! with a "cruiser" pedal though.
Fast Fab makes this one. They say it can be done in red.
