Flyshit, indeed. I'm sorry if I offended. Obviously, Mark is a knowledgeable and esteemed member of this forum. He was plenty unhelpful to me and I can't read lots of what he writes. That's what I commented on. Really, no big deal.

I made a simple suggestion. Mark Tucker made a simple, insulting suggestion to me in the past and I didn't go way out about it. My negative feelings are based on his unhelpful remarks to me when I was having trouble with the work AJ Sims did on my engine. If he didn't like my posts, he could have moved on but instead, he made snide remarks. I gather that he knows lots about engines but I move on instead of trying to read his posts.

Jason Hamilton made art of the English language. Very well done! I enjoyed that.

Well I got my motor today! It was picked up exactly one week ago today so not bad timing to go from California to Florida...

So I open the crate which was very well built and find a beautiful new 2liter long block! Only downside? Missing the clutch, pressure plate, and balanced fan that was in the order... They did send the cb performance compensator bar but they forgot to take out their invoice from when they bought it from cb.
So I called them and they said that they forgot to include those parts and apologized. Said they'll have them out by the end of the week. Also they promised to send a spec sheet and valve settings, recommended oil weight, etc but that was missing as well.

So the saga continues....

We'll see this time next week if they've got them out in the mail...

So it's now been over a week since I received the engine and it was missing the balanced fan, clutch and pressure plate. I was told by the owner Greg that he would have it out by the end of last week...

I wrote him yesterday with no response and I wrote him again today to see if I can get a shipping confirmation.

I just wouldn't have expected this from Performance Workshop...I had heard nothing but good things about them

Sometimes it's like pulling teeth but be patient and keep a good attitude, I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end.

I've been trying to keep my patience and be positive but there comes a point that enough is enough. I'm just fed up with empty promises...

I've been in sales for over 13 years now and know how to treat someone. I would only think that if I just had an issue with a client for making empty promises and not following through that if another error happened I would be extremely responsive to the matter to earn the client's trust again.

He initially told me over the phone after I told him about the missing parts that he would have them out by the next day! I told him to just make sure they were out by the end of the week because I new he would let me down if I just went with his promise of next day service...

Well I live I Florida so I was hoping to have it on the road by late spring to be able to attend some of the local shows before it gets too hot. If I miss the spring shows I have to wait until fall...
