I thought it was the Hong Kong cafe (downtown L.A). I went there on a few Sunday and Thursday nights. She reminds me of a girl that would have kicked ass at the Tropicana (mud wrestling) in Hollywood. My favorite strip club of all time. 18 and over but it was so big and so dark no one could see you spiking your own drinks and $1 lap dances to top it off. $20 went a long way in that place. My favorite stripclub of all-time hands down. That place was the BOMB. Why do all good things have to come to an end???? _________________ Frank Ochoa said; "I still have my convertible bug from high school. | Nice shot of the Bad Tempers at world famous Stadium Way with Elysian park in the background. Love it!! .. So many people have been on Stadium Way and probably didnt even realize it. Chavez Ravine/Dodger Stadium, Elysian Park, LAPD SWAT. You cant get to those places without driving on Stadium Way unless you use that very, very small exit off the 110 by Cathedral Highschool and who wants to do that. Love it CRG!!! _________________ Frank Ochoa said; "I still have my convertible bug from high school. I forgot about the free chinese food. There were so many party spots for everyday of the week back then. My only day-off used to be Monday. I cant wait to hear more 80s party spots pop up that we havent heard of since then.. _________________ Frank Ochoa said; "I still have my convertible bug from high school. If you go up the windy streets past all the houses you end up at some locked gates to a hiking trail. We used to take chicks up there to scam. Then on the way out you would end up at Broadway. It seems like yesterday that we would roam all of Elysian Park at the weee hours of the night. _________________ Frank Ochoa said; "I still have my convertible bug from high school. I know what you mean guys....every time I go to a Dodger game or use Stadium way to bypass the 5 to 110 frwy I pass by that exact spot where that picture was taking......and I always think about the sights & sounds of that time.......and all the VW's racing up and down and all the chacha chicks standing around all the VW's lined up parked checking out the cruising cars....... _________________ 1955 151 Deluxe L219 Congo Green (Project)

As many tourists and foreigners as L.A. attracts and the ease of crisscrossing that stretch of congested highway and catching the sights along the way, the monicker world famous to describe Stadium Way is not a stretch. They just didnt know they were on Stadium Way... _________________ Frank Ochoa said; "I still have my convertible bug from high school. It's funny how we all knew the secret ways to get out of Stadium Way when the LAPD would show up.........I remember one time It was me, my girl at the time and my friends primered beater VW that had my drivetrain in it (we had trailered it and parked & unloaded it on a sidestreet off the world famous Sunset Blvd & left the truck/trailer there). We had just got to stadium way. for like 5min. looking for some street race action on Riverside dr and all of a sudden the LAPD showed up, so my boy was driving and I had my girl on my lap (no back seat/stripped interior, completly gutted) and a couple of us VW's take off knowing that one cop car could only catch one VW......so my friend says "I'm not going to let them impound my car" turns off the lights and floors it down stadium way going towards the 5 fwry back entrance......I'm looking back and could see the other VW's not keeping up, and the red/blue lights of the LAPD car as soon as we made the turn to get on the freeway 5 South he opened it up....my girl is freaking out, we are holding on for dear life, we got to Soto exit like nothing pulled into the Gas station at Soto before Olympic and parked with the electric fans running (no ALternator or Fan shroud) and waited for the engine to cool off. babied it all the way back to HP down Soto......jumped in my stock 67 bug and went back and picked up the trucK/trailer later that night...........CRAZY/FUN TIMES!! _________________ 1955 151 Deluxe L219 Congo Green (Project)

Its a trip how we knew that park like the back of our hands. When the cops came busting-in we would push those buckets to the limits and on the north side by Broadway I had a little secluded spot but the lowrider crowd hung out nearby so whenever they started fighting and cuetes were involved you would here go, go, go, go and chicks screaming and people running everywhere and I would push my noisy, bumpy bucket thru twist and turns and narrow streets all the while with whatever chick I had in the car screaming her ass off. I can still feel the rush of those moments. _________________ Frank Ochoa said; "I still have my convertible bug from high school. Sh*t.... Once the police showed up you could hear people say "Drive my car cos I have a suspended license".
Rolling around Elysian park one night it was dead but us die hards would always be there and we spot this car on the side of the road. A slammed vw what else? The girl driving gets out and asked for help and at the same time two cholos are with her and so I`m thinking why can`t these fools help her? So I tell her oK move out the way so we can park the car. Soon as she moved we got the hell out of there cos it smelled like a stick up! Around these parts you always had to keep your guard up.. Even today!! _________________ CRG
