Until the Diamondbacks start sprinkling in a few proven/consistent 300 hitters into the lineup I refuse to believe they will get anywhere beyond a wildcard. Brandon Webb or Dan Herron, W/ Mark Reynolds, Connor Jackson, Justin Upton, Chris Young. I had to laugh the 1st time I went to a Diamondbacks game and saw what everyone was getting worked up over. Judge Grants Lenny Dykstra’s Request To Attend Gary Carter Memorial
NEW YORK (WFAN) – Lenny Dykstra “desperately” wants to be present at Friday night’s memorial for former Mets teammate Gary Carter, according to TMZ.com.
The problem? He’s under house arrest in California.

Bro, Its a business decision. It works both ways NOW. Teams suck you up and spit you out when they think you are washed-up ala Babe Ruth, Joe Montana,etc,etc etc etc. How much did it cost the Diamonbacks to hold on to an injured Brandon Webb? Price was forced to leave Thursday's game with a neck spasm after toweling himself off too vigorously.
Seriously.
Call it over-toweling.
Price claimed he was simply drying his head in the dugout after his second inning against the Tigers and, well, let's just let him tell it.
"The towel just catches the back of my head, and it pulls my neck forward," he said. "I just felt it a little bit in back of my neck and just wanted to be cautious with it.
"There's a little pop, and it just spasms up and gets a little tight."

Hockey players are the hardest working and toughest athletes period. yeah yeah I know you're going to say Football, but give me a break they play once a week.
I can see how a hangnail on someones pitching hand would make a drastic difference in their game because everything has to be so concise. But a neck spasm? doesn't that just go away in a few minutes? _________________ '62 Rag Top Bug

He'll never be the same if he comes back. That is just a devastating injury.
Maybe the next 275 pound man will think twice before jumping on a trampoline while rehabbing another injury. What if he had fallen and landed on his arm. If I had been lucky enough to make the pros in a sport I would hope I would think twice before doing anything to jeopardize my fortune. _________________ -=Rob
