I am reassembling my 67 and have a pair of these. They fit under the front fender behind the wheel-well. I need fresh seals.
What are these called? And where can I get them?

I've heard them referred to as 'Mudguard seals'. KGPR has them listed as 'Door Hinge Pillar Cover Plate' seals. At any rate, you can get them here. |

| Max, If you haven't already ordered them from KGPR, I'd buy them from Mike at House of Ghia. I bought from the other parts places and none of them would go in. Mike's were well made and the rubber was way more pliable than the others. Trust me on this one. |

I just did this on my '69. Originally, the seals are actually held in place using carpet nails (really!) in three places. I used aluminum pop rivets. Worked like a hot damn. _________________ Jason Hamilton

If "the other parts places" Cover Plate Seal didn't fit, but the ones you got from HOG did, "the other parts places" didn't include us.
I normally wouldn't post, but I see we're mentioned by name... |

Andre, I recently got a bunch of other seals from you guys for this car. The quality seems just fine so far. So I have no reason to shop else-ware at this time.

| i just used KGPR seal on the hinge covers a couple months ago. They were tight, as designed. I needed to tap in in place with a rubber mallet. Because of the way the part curves and how the seal is like 3 sided. Thingings to remember ...Test fit w/oseal first to make sure all lines up. Once the seal is on your part, part in place... watch what is going on and where it needs to end up. Your side badge needs to go on first. Your side moulding has to go on first...or you will be taking the cover off. |

| Andre, I ordered the seals from you guys(KGPR)first and they didn't fit. The rubber wasn't pliable which made them impossible to get in correctly even when I heated them and lubed them up. Its been awhile since I've ordered that seal from you guys so things may have changed? KGPR has always put out good products and I will continue to purchase parts from them as well share my experiences using them. |
