All you need is scented candles, massage oil, and some Barry White. Write that down

OK, as the days progress here more and more of you are finding out that I've sold my 63 notchback. Yes this is one of the sweetest most original notchbacks out there and I for sure will never see another like it in my hands. But thats ok. Ive never been one to keep them forever. Have a look over the cars Ive owned and you can see that.
The lowered 64 black mamba I built for fun when I was younger, the 62 Anthracite, the 65 RHD Oz notch, the super early 62 Gulf Blue Notch and finally this 63 Weiss sunroof.
Im not out of the game fellas, so the mournful words Ive been getting are nice but not needed. Im glad that its going to a good home as well as being able to unlock the tied up $ trapped in it.
Ive made an actual adult decision to sell off my VWs for now and try to get property-house while the market is low. I don't want to be the asshole holding the bag in 5-10 years that didnt jump on this opportunity. Id much rather have cheap property now than cool cars in my garage in five years. After this summer the buses will more than likely go as well. There are always VW projects out there.
Im not jumping over to the bus side, Im not selling off all my little cool shit. Ive had my eye on several early possible T3 restorations, so chances are Ill be buying something like that down the road-and it will be a notchback.
So relax y'all-the club is ok, Im still a T3 lover-water is wet and the sky is blue. OK? All is well in the Universe.

Plus you still have the T-34 at Tram's.
Thats actualy the girlfriends albatross. But Im ecited about that project as well. I dont think it will be a show stopper but its gona turn some heads for sure.
I need to get her 74 bus done as well this summer. That thing is in amazing shape for a camper. Just needs some paint, rubber and TLC. She wants to sell it but that may need to wait till next year as Im not sure if the end of summer into fall is a good time to sell a vw camper for max proffit.

You should set your sights on finding a triple or double digit notch.

I'm sure whatever you decide to do in the future will be as nice as your 63

So until you find the next Notch project how should we address you, Bayboy or Razorboy?
Will all of these "adult " decisions I think he should switch to______man.
I iwll just call him Jason.
Notchman does have a Superhero-esque ring to it, whereas Notchboy sounds...sidekick-ish. _________________ '65 Squareback - Sally

But seriously, I completely understand. It's a good time to buy real estate with interest rates lower than they've been in anyone's memory. The cars will always be there when the house and job issues are taken care of...at least that's what I always tell myself. _________________ 5/62 343

You've been threatening(sp?) to do this for years. That sounds like your calling... find an early body Notch (1 that doesn't need a ton of rust removal), and cut the roof off it, and build the convertible you've always lusted after. I started doing that, but I really need an early nose clip to weld on, and I've had a T-34 dropped in my lap, so it's on hold. Plus, mine stated out as a Squareback.
