TRP On Parade!!
The Resurrection Project is teaming up with the Placer County Fair Grounds in Roseville, CA to bring another new and exciting Aircooled Volkswagen Event to the Sacramento Area. TRP will be hosting a Show/Shine Volkswagen Show DURING the Placer County Fair.... What this means is not only do you get a Volkswagen show you also get an entire fair full of fun to enjoy with the family!
Date: Saturday June 23, 2012
Time: 5:00 PM - 10PM (Yes, a Night Time Affair)
VWShow Cost: $10.00 per CAR load (must be legal size car load)
(Cost will cover you, your car and everyone in your car entrance into the fair)
*Pre-Registration Highly Encouraged (coming soon)
**The Placer County Fair Grounds is also donating $5.00 of each car load to a local charity of TRP's Choice!!!! So your entrance fee will make a difference in someones else life as well.
***AS an ADDED bonus each car will ALSO receive 2 FREE tickets to All American Speedway that can be used anytime in the 2012 season ($26 Value) including that night to watch the races on the circle track!!!
Walk In Spectators: Normal Fair Entrance Fee $5.00/$5.00 per car parking
***********NO SWAP MEET AT THIS SHOW***************
*We ask that everyone be at the site at 5:00PM entering through gate "F", there will be a Sheriff lead PARADE through the fair grounds that will start at 6:00pm sharp and everyone must be paid and ready to go in the lot at 6:00pm NO EXCEPTIONS.

So for those of you that don't know, the Placer county fair is having a different car show each night Thur-Sun of the fair...and which ever show has the MOST paid registrations get's 100% of the proceeds to donate to a local charity!!!! Let's beat those Ford and Cheby guys and show up tough!!!

Just got back from a meeting at the fair grounds...check out the pics of the lay out

Remember to drink responsibly........The Beer Stand...right at the show area!!!
Don't forget this is a NIGHTIME show....5pm is when registration starts...and the gates open at 6pm!!!!

Stealing this from the fair grounds FB Post: The Placer County Fair Beer Garden, Bands non stop from 3pm Thursday to 10 pm Sunday, Micro beers for just $4, Zip Line, huge food court, Mechanical bull, misters and plenty of picnic tables. All that added together equals what? Party Time. )
Beer, Bulls, and Zip Lines??? This is my kind of VW show!!!

Hopefully this doesnt appear like a thread hijack, so apologies in advance... But for anyone in the bay area heading up to Roseville for TRP, there will be a caravan leaving LaVere's open house in Concord at 3pm.
If anyone wants to make a day of it, swing by LaVeres and check out the shop, enjoy a nice lunch, then cruise to TRP  (more info here http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=516659)
