I love my beat up '67 but the recent change in my circumstances might have made it a lot less viable. When I bought this car I was nearly completely broke living with my parents on 80 acres of land with plenty of ways to set up shop for week plus projects on my baby. Downside I had no money upside I had space to do whatever work I needed to. I got a job back in my field low paying but not horribly so the downside is I'm living in an apartment with on street parking and I have no place to do any real work on my car.
It's looking like I either need some cheap shop space (I have no clue how to get that) or a car that is a lot more dependable she runs but needs quite a bit of work to do some of the trips I need to do occasionally as she lasts about 5mi before starting to drop in performance 4mi if it's raining.
The thought of another car makes me sad this is the only car I have ever driven with a smile on my face. |

Sounds like it just needs a good tuneup to be a daily driver. Pay rosevillain or somebody to tune it for you! _________________ http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u236/mr_bojangles500/

| She needs some work on the brakes too. And a massive amount of sanding and painting... |

I will admit the primer is part of the appeal. Something about an unfinished project. |

You need to get involved with a club local to your apartment. There may be someone close by who has a place for you to come work and play.
I ALWAYS have guys at my place working on their stuff. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

| If I wasn't notoriously bad about talking to people I don't think I would have a problem. Walking around my neighborhood I count at least 5-7 bugs mine is in the worst condition. |

Sounds like you need to just walk around until you see somebody out there working on theirs and then just walk up and introduce yourself.
Or post a better location as to where you are on here and see who steps up to give you a hand. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

| I live on the right side of the tracks if you happen to like farmers markets... Oddly that's not just a clue if you live within about 30mi of where I do... |
