| I always hate to see someone selling their buggy for ANY reason. We have sold everything of value but our Buggy. Times are hard, But not our Buggy. Never. But you have to do what you have to. Good Luck. And God Bless. |

I think it's called - price negotiation. Market is already tough when selling a completed buggy; tougher still when trying to sell a project buggy.
Charge $100.00 Information/Photos Fee for the 'lookie-loos'... refundable upon purchase, of course.

I gotta X2 Bryan on that. I'm trying to sell a three rail dirtbike trailer right now and you would think I was selling a house. I told a guy by email yesterday, that lives less than 10 miles from me, that if used less of my time bugging me for more pictures and more time (15 mins) driving over to my house to check it out, we'd both be ahead of the game. I kicked a guy off my lot over the weekend when he got pissed that I wouldn't accept half of what I wanted (which isn't much).
Bob, you are in control. While there is some salesmanship involved, it ain't retail, and the customer isn't always right. If you feel that you are putting more time into a given potential buyer, cut them off or require non-refundable payment for time and resources as Bryan suggests.
Of course that generally means you won't sell it quickly, which is the down side of being a principled seller. Good luck selling your rig. |

Thanks for delivering the buggy Mike (Bob's real name, due to Samba program problem) and it was a pleasure to meet you and your grandson.
Mike's build quality is top notch. The pan/chassis is very well done with lots of small, cool details.
The chassis will get used here very shortly this spring. The body will get done this next winter. _________________ The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
Looks like it was painted with a live chicken, polished with a brick and buffed with a pine cone
