Although im not going to any of the extremes that these people do, i often think about catastrophic preparedness and what i would do to survive such an event. Any doomsdayers out there?

Not a doomsday prep'er, just an old boyscout. I extend the "Be Prepared" motto into my daily life in regards to food, water, and basic survival necessities just in case the store suddenly runs out of goods. Having a large rotating pantry and a good garden are never bad ideas. _________________ Wish List:

It doesn't matter how much food and guns and comic books you have stored in your underground bunker. Life is over when you run out of water. Those doomsday psycho's don't have a clue. _________________ 2010 Sportsman ET Champion - Mid-America Dragway - Arkansas City, KS

Going on national TV advertising the fact that you have lots of food, water and weapons will pretty much guarantee you'll be over-run when society collapses. These people have no clue what it would take.

If I had to live life like they are preparing to do, just kill me.
Some of my favorite things to do are not ration my food, not sleep underground in a metal box and not have to kill somebody else over a gallon of gas to run my generator. |
