Looking for information on this rack , Story is that it was bought by a man in 1953 for his Beetle. I have an opportunity to get it but am having trouble finding any info on it. the dimension are 54 and 1/2" long, 37" wide, and 9" tall at the front end (without the rubber suction cup)
Ever seen this one ? would like to confirm its appropriate for a Beetle.
Any photos out there of this rack on a Beetle? , let me know what you guys think

Yes they did make them for VW, as well as most other makes.
The VW version was 90cm wide x 100cm long

the one you've found, looks very similar to one I had awhile back- super cool looking rack but didn't fit the roof well at all-

Got any photos ? I had the same experience with a Norema rack that I had.
I've been corresponding with the guy and He gonna try to get photos of his rack mounted to a Beetle. |
