I'd say closer to $200 for a nice cleaned up set with center caps. Those are the kind of rims that are both rare and slightly undesirable. I've always loved them though. Just paint the sides of the spokes black, and polish the rest.

Oh and btw those are called turbines, and imo they are some of the best looking 4 lug rims.

Do you have pics of the center caps. I have these on my Super but haven't tracked down center caps.

Ask ISP West in Carson, CA about caps. They are custom building different CNC aluminum center caps.

I think they're cool & unusual also.

I have a set that I'm going to restore and use. It will also be fun choosing tires for them (*not* going to stick with stock 165's).

I got a couple of original center caps with mine--will try to take a picture or two, and also measurement.

I'm wondering if something like this guy's caps, at the 3.25" size, might work???

Pictures...

Here are some pictures of the plastic center caps that came with my old school Western Wheels brand "turbine" style wheels (cast aluminum). As far as I can tell, my wheels are exactly the same as those shown at the beginning of this thread.

I am going to guess that the basic OD of the cap is right around 3.25, since, unfortunately, my wheels are out being cleaned up right now and I can't go and measure *them* (for center hole diameter). Note that the flexible tabs on the caps have a bit of a taper to them also, so that when I put the ruler up to them, they appear to be a little less than 3.25". Anyway, perhaps these shots & info may be of some use to other Western Wheels owners/enthusiasts...
