| Went to the Kelley Park show (San Jose, CA USA) and got this pretty magentic dashboard magnet. Went to Kelly Park last year and got a magnet. Got magnets from all sorts of fun VW events. I've got more magents than dash space. Let's face it the VW dash isn't exactly expansive. Stick a few magnets in place and there's not space left for more. Anyone have a creative way to keep and display the magnets other than using my refrigerator? I like having them for nostalgic reasons. Am I the only person on the Samba to worry about dash magnets? I know, get a life. |

| Owwwww that hurt....but it was funny too. I guess I failed to mention that I wanted my magnets not to get lonely by keeping them all together. That's why they are magnetic. |

I drive a Baja with no headliner. I stick all my magnets up there. Something to stare at during long red lights. _________________ ~low dollar dubbin~

| I used to stick them on a board that I had wrapped sheet metal around looked nice and I was able to put it up at shows. Then I started collecting show shirts which my wife keeps threatening to throw away. |

You could put them in a rotation. Run 3 on the dash- the rest in the glovebox awaiting a turn. Or, open the hood and stick them to the underside- way up just above the wiring cover? You could admire them at each fillup. _________________

I'm sure you have a few that are more independent then the others. Some that actually repel the others maybe?
Those could always be put someplace else, maybe on the doors, or down under the dash. They would still be close enough for moral support from the others if they still needed it! _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |
