Does anyone recognize this master cylinder switch as VW?

It came with some VW parts I bought but is bigger and fatter than others I have seen.

The part number later changed to 0 344 002 001.
To suit Mercedes Benz 180/190 from the late 1950's.
Also suits Hanomag F45, F55, F65, F66 & F75.
