I went to Mike's shop last Monday to buy parts for my 1971 Westy. Mike was very helpful in showing me the parts that I need. He sold me a dash board and locking mechanism for the side sliding door. His prices are very fair and the parts that he sold me are in good condition.

I was with my friend, Ramiro, when we went to Mike's shop and Mike sold Ramiro a pair of side windows for a 1968 bus at a good price.

I continue to restore bugs and buses and I will surely keep on coming back to Mike's shop to buy parts.

A follow up;

I rec'd an email from Mike today. He said he received the molding I returned back to him on my dime. He apologized for sending the 'wrong' item out. He also mentioned that he learned a few things including what a repop gas gauge molding looks like, to double check his packages before mailing and that the customer is always right. 2 outta 3!

Mike, the customer is not always right but, 99% of the time thinks he is. A tip, before you post something for sale...know what it is you are selling and describe it in detail.

There are a whole lot of folks on this site who do know what they are talking about...it's ok to listen and learn. It's also ok to learn from those who have no clue too. Helps to avoid their errors.

I saw some gravel guards for my type 1 in the classified section. Had great communication with Mike; I sent a postal money order. He sent the guards out the same day he received the money order (on a Saturday...holiday weekend) and I received them the next postal delivery day! He is "Focused" on his customers! Super smooth transaction and the gravel guards are perfect!

I had problems dealing with this guy

The package arrived here in Thailand. There are a pair of vent wing missing in the parcel.

The air vent is in very bad condition! The ads states it is good use.. Do you think this is good use?!? I think the vent is not the same as in this ads!

Got a pair of nice high back seats from Mike; they were exactly as pictured. Mike set it up to have them shipped by greyhound bus. Got them much quicker than we expected and they fit great. We'll be keeping an eye out for other parts he's got and we need.
