I rebuilt them both. Upon tunning and re-tunning I noticed one of the mixture screws does nothing when I adjust it. It's above cylinder #2. I also noticed the exhaust pipe on that cylinder is not as hot as the rest. I get a little POP from that velocity stack.

Good compression
New plugs
Wires
Rotor
Cap

I went through the carb twice.
Air passage or something I'm missing?

Dirty passage of clogged idle jet.... Pull it out and look at it ...AGAIN...

plugged idle jet. 99.9% of the time if a carb problem appears, its a idle jet.
