Glad to hear you got it fixed. what broke? which serp belt setup are you running?
I finally got my keys back at 9pm last night. |
I had the tensioner pulley bearings go bad (they started squealing). It is a Scat belt setup. I think they used cheap bearings and I will replace them with some good quality ones. |

April 14, 2012 - Painters Grinding Spring Dub Roast #4
Denver, Colorado
For the 4th year in a row we are having our Spring Dub Roast here at Painters Grinding. We will be raffling a 1600cc longblock fresh rebuild for $5 a ticket, or 5 for $20. You must be present to win the engine, and there will be consolation prizes after the engine drawing. Oh yeah and don't forget the free hotdogs, popcorn and refreshments. Store will be open between 9-12, show starts at 12 and goes on till 3. Drawings will start at 3:00. We appreciate everyone that has came out in the past. Thanks for making it a fun show. Any questions, you can email me. [email protected]

| Whats up everyone. Well KDP ended up only sending 2 members of the club out to PHX for Bugorama. All of our guys tryed to get things straight before we left but it seemed like it was one thing after an other with our cars. Not for a lack of effort they didn't make it though. Will and I had a great time. Day one was one I would like to forget. It took us 24hrs to get there. Thats right 24 straight through. We hit some snags with both of our cars but nothing to Major. The cool thing is I was scrolling through a little earlier on samba today and found out that Will walked away with a 3rd place showing in his class. Congrats to Will Had a Kick ass time and even ran into some people from Colorado, small world. I put together a video of our trip check it out. It's kind of long but hey you can't knock good times. http://youtu.be/HkLYJu6-OrI |

This Sunday, April 15, 2012, we will be hosting a day of remembrance for our good friend, Rob Cress. This will be less a day of mourning and more a celebration of the life of an incredibly vibrant and unique individual. I encourage all who have been touched by Rob in their lives to attend. The memorial will be held at our home in Colorado Springs; 2021 Mid Road, 80906 at 2 pm.

Looks like you had a good time Louis. Too bad you had breakdowns but at least you made it home in one piece. _________________ Jonny

Mike, that's an awesome idea. Rob's life should certainly be celebrated as he certainly had an positive effect on me. My kid has a baseball game but I will try to make it. Thanks for hosting. _________________ Jonny
