Hi and hello...I got two 1973 Things back in 1992. One had a crumpled front end, the other was OK. The damaged one had the title, and the mechanic we dealt with was going to take care of it, but he passes away while I am out of state for an extended period. My brother had to get the cars and parts out of the rented work shop, and not all things made it. The good car has been stored for a long time and now that I am selling it I found I need a plate. The damaged thing had no front end...so....
The folks at the Thin Shop recommended I check here as they remember someone selling replacements a few years back. Does anyone know where to look.? Thanks,
Mike |

Hi Mike. Welcome to the forum. I don't know if this helps, but the VIN can be found in two other places on the car. It is stamped on top of the tunnel under the back seat, and can also be found on a sticker (often painted over) on the inside of the pillar between the two driver side doors.
Cheers. |
