| Like a ton of other folks, I am in the mire of turns and flashers. I am actually rewiring to install a new fuse holder with new type fuses. My problem at the moment is sorting out the turn and emergency flash circuits. Everything worked OK before I removed the old fuse block except for the emergency flashers. I want to restore this function before I finish. If I could ever get a good wiring diagram I could get it done. The current diagram from the Samba archives is what I need but it is to small when I get it downloaded. Expanding it after download renders it useless. I must be missing something as I see other folks using parts this same diagram in a normal size. I think my tired old brain is missing an easy solution here. Anyone suggest anything? |

Thanks Eric.
I actually have already downloaded that diagram and although useful I am trying to get a look at things with the actual current version of this same circuitry. The diagram I want is described as the "Current flow diagram
PDF file" for 1973, as opposed to the "component" view. The problem I am having is that the size of the diagram is so small it is necessary for me to enlarge it to be able to read it. After enlarging, the resolution or detail is lost again making not readable for me. I was thinking there may a larger sized version somewhere like all the other diagrams. All the others are fine. I see portions of this same diagram in other members postings so it has to be available somewhere.
Otherwise I am attempting to trace out the flasher and switch portions and it would be so helpful with this current diagram. I have enough trouble with the nomenclature of German diagrams as it is. My blinker light has stopped flashing with the hazard mode or the turn mode. The hazard mode has never worked but the turs have been OK till my messing around. Today I checked the bulb as OK, now I have to keep going.
Appreciate your help.

Jim, that's a PDF file, so you can scale it however you want without a loss of resolution. It's barely readable if you print it on legal sized paper. You can take it to a copy place and have them print it out on large 11x17 paper. Or you can open the document on your computer, zoom in to whatever portion you like, take a screen shot, and then print out the screen shot.
I hope that helps. |

Capt. Spalding.. Thank you very much for the .pdf prompt. Amazing how I have worked with Adobe etc for years and years and never once thought about doing a screen shot. Do it with everything else but not .pdf. I did get it done and completed work on the turn/EMG circuit and all works well. It was amusing though how nothing was working when I was finished until in a punitive moment I whacked the dash, and, yes it all started working nicely. Bad connections somewhere I assume. Thanks for your help. I am now off to restore the generator waring light non function. I have posted that issue in a new posting..
Thanks again .
