Windshield wiper system blowing fuse on 68

90% complete rewiring but everytime I turn the wipers on that fuse blows. I m running out of fuses and patients... Help

Did it rain a lot recently? My ghia went through a bunch of fuses for the wipers and radio recently because the wiring was exposed to rain water. Once that was cleared up and dry, everything was fine again.

Thanks for your reply. I did take the wiper motor and switch out to rewire them. I had a hard time reading the number posts so I sprayed wd-40 on them and wiped them clean. Then wired them up to the car. Maybe that was the problem. I guess I should wait a while and try again later. Thanks, I'll respond tomorrow with the results.

Ok :-*, problem solved. I guess it does matter witch groundwork use. Chaining the grounds together made the fuse blow when I turned it on. Make sure you ground that system just like the diagram
